Mathurin the strid, green and black fish in glass fusion:
This technique consists of cutting the glasses, decorating them:
and put them in the oven.
Mathurin was baked at 800oC... he did not say a word on this delicate subject :)
At this temperature, the glasses merge together, the pieces weld as they cool.
Each creation is unique, the manufacturing is handcrafted.
Fish size: 6 to 8 cm wide and 7 to 10 cm long, depending on the model.
I make each piece with the utmost care, in my workshop on the island of Oléron.
